The author searched this issue on opinion and most previous studies are largely perception alone. This is because there is still an open and comprehensive study on this complex issue of 'Chinese perspective on Islam'. Therefore, this article explains in simple nature of the Chinese perspective on Islam in the frame of mind of the Malays. However, these discussions take into account the views of both Malay and Chinese writers.
