Knowledge always changes and expands. Therefore, knowledge requires an effective framework of knowledge management which was holistic, relevant in order to be shared by organizational members. The main purpose of this study was to examine the principal’s roles in implementing the practices of knowledge management at school level. In addition, this study also tries to determine the level of knowledge management and inculcate the knowledge management in school culture by the schoolprincipal. Besides that, the study also tries to identify the main factors which influence the knowledge management at school and principals’ initiative of improving the knowledge management planning. A total of 150 teachers were selected randomly as respondent for this study from four respective schools. Findings revealed that the level of knowledge management implementation and knowledge management practices were considered as high whereas, the organizational technology (ICT), leadership of principals and school culture were identified as important indicators in influencing the implementation of knowledge management at school level. Structure equation model also proved that knowledge
management indicators have strong relationship in implementation of knowledge management at educational sectors.
