The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the emotional reaction of workers at work and the importance of emotion in implementing daily tasks in an organization. A study was conducted among administrative and supporting staffs of public administration. Respondents were randomly selected. An Emotional Reaction Model (MOREM) was developed which can be used as a guideline in emotional reaction study. Emotional classification studied was based on the scope of positive emotion and negative emotion among workers in implementing their daily tasks. Overall, the level of positive emotional reaction among workers in the studied organization was moderate and the negative emotional reaction was low and moderate. The proposed solutions to negative emotions and the handling methods pertaining to this matter are also discussed.Downloads
