Abstract

Quarry productions are mostly used in construction field. For many years, quarry activities had been one of the main contributors to national and also state economy. The technology used for this industry had also developed that contributes to the increasing of the amount and also the quality of the quarry production. The potential of this industry had finally attract many company and also individual to be involved in this industry resulting to the increasing of quarry activity application at the Land and Mines Office as the authorized party in charge in the application process. The application will be processed by the Land and Mines Office and reviewed by technical department involved such as Land and District Office, Minerals and Geoscience Department, Town and Urban Planning Department and Local Authorities. The absence of the specific guideline for the technical department in reviewing process had hardened the application process. The guideline will be reformed by considering the general guideline existed in the National Land Code and also other related act and state enactment and as an addition by the opinion of the quarry operators.
