Abstract

Human capital is one of the major assets or resources to organizations. It could not directly links to the performance of the organization without the interaction with other resources. This study argues that integration strategy could act as a mediating variable on the relationship between human capital and performance because it can allow the interaction between human capital and other organizational resources. The result of this interaction  enable human capital to link with the performance of which was not tested in previous studies. The study was conducted on the manufacturers who have obtained Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) in Peninsular Malaysia. There are 1,958 manufacturers with LMW license and 800 were selected randomly. During data collection, the study received 107 responses and only 102 responses were then used for analysis. The finding shows there is a significant mediating effect of integration strategy on relationship between human capital and warehouse operational performance. For the future research,  study needs to be done on the relation between other resources and organizational performance. Information gathered from the study could help to improve knowledge and understanding on the linkage between resources and performance
